Matt has 25 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator working with a pipe crew on maintenance and service connections of water and sewer lines. Matt started with SSMWC in December 2011.
“Mac” began with the SSMWC in January 2012. Previously he was the public works director for the City of Yerington, Nevada. Mac brings 30 years of experience with water to the Silver Springs community.
Cyndie is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the water company and works with the government entities providing our improvement grants and loans. Since returning to the SSMWC team in 2020 (having previously been employed with SSMWC from 2010-2012), Cynthia has worn many hats. She has extensive knowledge of all the workings of the water company. Cynthia has been a resident of the Silver Springs area for over 20 years.
Kelly joined the SSMWC team in July 2023. With over 20 years in customer service, she is energized and excited to provide exceptional service to our members. Kelly has resided in Silver Springs since 2011. She spends her free time with her two amazing children, who she describes as her two greatest assets.
Jim joined the SSMWC team in July 2022. Having previously worked 11 years with a local GID. Jim brings with him water distribution and wastewater certifications required by the Nevada Bureau of Safe Drinking Water.
The Board of Directors consists of seven members. The seven elected Board members serve three-year terms with three positions and then two positions expiring and then two positions expiring then continuing on in the same manner. At the conclusion of their terms, the current Board members' successors shall be elected to three-year terms so that at least two of the Board members' terms shall expire each year. Mid-term vacancies are replaced by appointment until the annual meeting. At each annual meeting, directors shall be elected by the members of the corporation. Directors shall not receive any stated salaries for services.
Greg is president and third generation of ERGS, Inc., a real estate development and construction company. He is active at the local, state, and federal levels of the National Association of Home Builders, as well as various local charitable and civic organizations. Greg holds an undergraduate degree from Colorado State University, a law degree (Juris Doctor) from Catholic University, and an MBA from the University of Nevada. Term ends 2025.
Mr. Noble moved to Nevada from Norman, Oklahoma in 1992 and relocated to Silver Springs in 2007 to plant his roots and built two homes for his family. He is a constructive member of the Silver Springs community, volunteering annually at the Senior Center by preparing pro-bono tax returns for the elderly. Mr. Noble is a disabled veteran of the United States Air Force and worked for the Postal Service for 30 years. Term ends 2024
Scott lives in Silver Springs and has been a Board member since May 2010. Scott also serves on the Silver Springs Advisory Board. Term ends 2025.
Puff is a native Nevadan and has lived in Silver Springs for 30 years. She has served on the SSMWC Board since 1993 and is herself a ratepayer of the water company. Term ends 2026.
Mike has been part of the Silver Springs community since 1987 and established his business roots a year later. His commitment to public service is noted with his 12-year tenure on the water board where he not only served, but also assumed the role of President for 11 years, during which time he oversaw the inception of the Silver Springs sewer system. Mike's connection to Silver Springs runs deep, mirrored by his pride of owning and operating two businesses. Term ends 2024.
Peggy moved from California to Silver Springs in 1995. She opened a small business in town and raised her family here. Peggy has been on the Board of Directors since 2001. Term ends 2025.
Jackee joined the Board of Directors in May 2022. She has been a resident of Silver Springs for over 40 years and is both a customer and member of the SSMWC. Jackee has a working and educational background in resource management (B.S. Resource Management-Forestry Option 1992 UNR). Term ends 2024.
At each annual meeting, directors shall be elected by the members of the Corporation. The nomination for Board of Directors will be accepted from **Members of the SSMWC between October 1st and December 31st of the year preceding the election. Balloting for candidates will be held at the Annual Membership Meeting in March of the following year. For purposes of Board election, cumulative voting shall not be allowed.

**A Member of SSMWC Is Defined As:
Every person owning property in the SSMWC water service area, as reported to the Nevada State Division of Water Resources and the Nevada Public Utilities Commission, in the County of Lyon, State of Nevada, is considered a member of the corporation.
